The Partner's Guide to Breastfeeding Support

By the end of the 30 minute course, partners will be able to:
- Describe normal newborn feeding frequency and early feeding cues.
- Recognize signs of effective milk transfer and adequate intake.
- Identify feeding pain, low output, poor milk transfer, and other concerns requiring help.
- Provide practical support during and between feedings.
- Respond to difficult moments with reassurance rather than pressure.
- Know when and whom to contact for lactation, pediatric, maternal, or emergency care.
- Create a simple postpartum support plan with defined responsibilities and care team contacts.
